The CCA Idaho Correctional Center P.I. Building Conversion project consisted of the conversion of an existing 45,000-sqft prison industries building into a 300-bed medium security prison facility. Project consisted of three-day room facilities, with associated restrooms, showers, bedding, and eating areas. New commercial kitchen and laundry room for serving the 300 men population was installed, as well as, eight classrooms for prisoner rehabilitation and education with supporting medical exam training rooms and staff offices. The project also included the expansion of an existing kitchen facility to accommodate additional prison load of PI conversion project, as well as, wing F expansion. An exercise track, basketball court, and an exterior freezer facility were also incorporated.
