This project consisted of new construction of a 20,000-sf structure including a 6,700-sf basement dedicated to Meridian Sleep Disorders Center. All building practices followed U.S. Green Building Council’s Green Building Standards. This is the first privately owned LEED certified building in the state of Idaho, to our knowledge. The facility includes 12 exam rooms, incorporating natural light and centered around an opened office support space, accompanied by clear story windows and sky lights. A tall, spacious reception area also incorporates these lighting features. Space layout includes 12 offices, conference room, break room, and supporting restrooms. Elevator access is included to the basement sleep center that accomidates up to eight sleep study rooms. Each suite contains its own restroom and is constructed to stimulate a bedroom at home. Natural lighting is also incorporated through a window well for two sleep room suites and control room. Lobby, reception, and break room are also included in this state of the art facility.
