The 205’ single span pedestrian bridge provides a pedestrian link between Boise and Garden Cities. The five sections were fabricated in Missoula Montana and trucked to Boise on special trailers because of their size (14’-2” x 14’ x 42’). Once on site the pieces were bolted together then flown into place as one piece with two cranes. An articulating revetment mattress and riprap protect the abutments while allowing access to the river for fishing and kayaking.
